Dance Styles is a fun workout that features steps from all kinds of dances: Salsa, Cha Cha, Swing, Jitterbug, Charleston, Polka, Cajun, Clogging — you name it and we do it! We even explore a variety of line dances like the disco Bus Stop, Cotton-Eyed Joe and the Electric Slide.
The class is designed to accommodate anyone from beginner to experienced dancer, since its focus is to improve coordination, stamina and to tone muscles. It’s a non-stop, work-at-your-own-level hour of enjoyable movement, including a musical workout with small weights for arms, legs, all-over stretches and a relaxing cool-down.
Wear loose, comfortable clothes. Jazz shoes or other leather-soled flat shoes recommended.
